De-development and Why Obama Wants it.

September 24, 2009 in A Fight For Our Culture, By Their Fruits, Progressive Philosophy, What's In Store For Us? by cvlambson

What is he campaigning for supreme leader of the New World Order? How can we trust these leaders to protect us from the despots of the world? They clearly hate America and all we stand for. In the doublespeak they use today is the word de-development. Do you know what that means according to Holdren? it is the slowing down and reversing the American Economy in order to cut the greenhouse gas emissions to an acceptable level. Ask yourself this; what does dedevelopment mean? The word part “de” means down or away. In other words-the hope, yea verily the plan, is to reverse the development of America to pre-industrial levels. Is that what they want What will that look like for you and I. Does that mean that they don’t want automobiles or factories. One must read Ayn Rand’s The Anthem, and The Fountainhead.  She was Russian and lived under communism. She is an Atheist, I hope that won’ keep you from reading what she has to say. I tend to think that her experiences hurt her so much that she turned away from God and to the individual people of the world for light. But that is just my opinion. What she writes about, like Orwell in 1984 and in Animal Farm is enlightening. And we better get enlightened or we’ll end up where she was, under totalitarian rule.

Look for the word de-development in the speeches of the left. You will soon find it to be a pervasive point in their ideology.

John Holdren whom the president looks to for his “wise” decisions holds the philosophy that is quite Orwellian. Holdren, Ehrlich and Anne Ehrlich wrote in their 1973 book, “Human Ecology: Problems and Solutions,” wrote the following

“A massive campaign must be launched to restore a high-quality environment in North America and to de-develop the United States,” Holdren and the Ehrlichs wrote in the conclusion of “Human Ecology.” “The need for de-development presents our economists with a major challenge. They must design a stable, low-consumption economy in which there is a much more equitable distribution of wealth than in the present one. Redistribution of wealth both within and among nations is absolutely essential, if a decent life is to be provided to every human being.”

Here is another  one for you- The post Kyoto Climate Regime. This was done at our dear old Harvard here’s the link   http://belfercenter.ksg.harvard.edu/files/Interim%20Report%20081203%20Akiko%20v6.pdf

The cap and trade legislation becomes clear once you digest this project. Written by academics at our universities. This is the plan for post-America control all under the guise of saving the planet. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. That is not an original thought by the writer. They may not even know that what they are setting up is ruling body that will enslave us for their own gain. For that is the nature of Godless individuals. Satan deceives them into thinking that they are doing what is necessary and while they are doing it, who they are as individuals changes, until their motivations become corrupt and they seek for their own vain ambitions and glory at the peril of the freedom of others. Satan himself said it in the pre-mortal world, Send me and I will have them all return safely but let the glory be mine. The road to Hell is paved with good intentions, is another wise saying.

You better stand up and not let this Health care bill pass. It will be our entrance down a path of no return to a socialistic state where we lose control of our government.

The Death of Journalism/ Illegal is Illegal

September 16, 2009 in By Their Fruits, Conservative Philosophy by cvlambson

I was reading an article BY LEE ROOD,  SEPTEMBER 16, 2009  on the front page of the Desmoines Register online. There was an article that talked about arrests in Iowa this last year of Illegals. It was basically trying to make us feel sorry that 67% of those arrested had no prior convictions. My response would be, Well sonny, not anymore. 100% of them should have prior convictions now, for they have committed a felony.

The objectivity of those doing the reporting has long since vanished. They have been brainwashed by their professors in their colleges and universities. They have become narrow-minded while claiming their progressiveness, which in and of itself is such a narrow view, even a religion to these who have been duped.

Here are a couple of truths: #1 illegal is illegal.

#2 A Nation cannot continue endlessly without an allegiance to its borders language and culture. Without such allegiance, the necessary restraint of the citizenry is lost to the divided loyalty of the stew pot, causing selfishness to rule the judgement of said citizenry and an onslaught of imaginary rights ensues. “One for all and all for one,” disappears, and an attitude of, “everything for me” begins to prevail, which allows tyrants to rise to power to satisfy the wants of the greedy over the needs of the whole.

It’s ok to fail

September 15, 2009 in By Their Fruits, Conservative Philosophy by cvlambson

The September 11th terrorist attack rippled through the entire US economic system. Have you forgot? 2.65% GDP is a miracle. Given the blow to our system of the attacks. Logical economical and social explanations can be given for each of these numbers that would show that the numbers are astounding given the ripple effect of SEPTEMBERR 11th.

The war costs are astronomical Oh yeah, that’s right. We didn’t need to do anything about little old Saddam. Besides it wasn’t any of us under his dictatorship, or in his rape rooms, let alone huge American interests in the region, oil. I wish we had gone in for oil. I am tired of paying for my pickup to be filled up.

Freedom never has been free. We are fighting for our way of life. There really are evil people in the world who still seek to enslave those around them, AS THERE ALWAYS HAVE BEEN!!! You, who want to pacify yourself into thinking that psychosis can be reasoned with, delude yourself into a false understanding of humanity’s weaknesses. All the while, the psychosis creeps closer to your door and closer to your life to TEAR IT APART.

The attitude of countries towards the US is largely based on what they see on the 6:00 o’clock news, and the media’s manipulation of info, the propaganda of the liberal media worldwide as it pushes its agenda of Socialism. I still believe we don’t need the government to take care of us. What have they ever done well except fight for us. Name one thing, other than fight, the government has done well. Time after time, it comes up with plans that fail, ‘the war on drugs”, “the war on poverty’, “the war on alcohol”; yet, some, thinking that, miraculously, this time it’s going to be different, still push for cradle to grave security that has made us a weak and sniveling populace prone to blame all but ourselves for our circumstances. Handouts do nothing but enslave the receivers of the handouts.

People fail, suffer, lose their homes, starve, and die. It’s failure that makes us strong and we need to be stronger to withstand the trials of life. Our charity is there to help those in need, but when it is forced, it becomes a burden and as is written in scripture, the reward of the giver is received. This idea that we all MUST help happens to be the same plan that Satan put forward in the preexistence.  His plan was to make sure that all would return by force. God wisely chose Christ’s plan of the perfect example of how to live life and gave us all the opportunity to follow him, of our free choice not by government mandate.

Some would say, “malarkey, God commands”. Yes, he does, yet he does not force us. It is our moral choice to follow or not to follow. That is why we are here to make choices and grow or decline through the choices that we make. The consequences of God will come. Socialists, Marxists, Communists however, give you no choice of following or not. They command and enforce the consequences immediately, giving us no opportunity to do good, thus using the bonzai method to make us what they want us to be, quiet contributors, robots in their causes. To them we can do no good, must be ordered to help, and don’t know well enough for ourselves what we should do for our children.

Don’t you love the diatribes of the liberals about building people up while their policies do nothing but increase the self doubt concerning the goodness and abilities that lie within all to choose to “do good” for those around us.

Go ahead, continue to believe the rhetoric, and put liberals in office. Move our nation towards Socialism. What you will find is what every society that tried socialism found, higher taxes, and only the appearance of ease, less motivation and more apathy, less exceptionalism and more people working only for a paycheck, less freedom and more cloistering of the courageous spirit of our people. One day you’ll wake up and wonder, like the frogs that didn’t jump out of the pot that was warming, where your country went. Darwinism may, by then, have unveiled to you the strongest and cruelest of the masses and subjected your heart-felt-passivism to their ruling class

The part that Social Progressives don’t understand about our society is this. As they acquiesce on the principles of borders, language, and culture, calling it diversity, they weaken the foundation that holds the society  together. Our forefathers wisely, some say even by divine intervention, set up a system that became the greatest of all on earth. Among the underlying principles were guidelines that were designed to hold the huge landmass of states together in a cohesive unit, the united states.  It was this unity that Lincoln demanded and that immigration policy, before Ted Kennedy and his ilk realized they needed more people to help, so that they could win elections, upheld. this concept. It is the fire that heats the melting pot, which homogenizes the people from all nations, kindred, and tongues into the United States of America it’s not supposed to be a stew pot.

By Their Fruits Ye Shall Know Them #2

Progressive Principle #2 Government must set up a system that levels the playing field taking from the producers and giving to the non-producers to create equality.

It would be great to have everybody equal in the amount of material goods that every citizen has. Who wouldn’t want that? I vote Yes!!!

But as you look at the principle a little more closely what you find is quite the opposite of the intent of  progressive principle #2. Instead of creating a society full of love and stability the principle  actually  promotes mediocrity across all producers and creates trickle up poverty damning the receivers of wealth distribution to a life of endless dissatisfaction .

As my high school wrestling coach, Ralph Harris, used to say, “excuses are for losers, quit making them.” Not everybody wins in life. Not everybody is going to feel good about themselves. And that’s ok. Failure is ok, it prepares us, makes us tougher so we can deal with the kick in the face that life sometimes gives us.

The progressive principle that life should be more fair has no basis in reality. Life is not fair, so get off your butt, dust yourselves off, and get back into the game instead of in the social programs line. Like a coddling parent spoils, some would say ruins, a developing child’s sense of self-worth,  government makes charity cases weak when they try to keep from us the reality that life is not fair. By the reception of life sustaining material, money, we lose confidence in our ability to win, to achieve, to survive.

Hardship is the factory of character, without hardships we are piles of jelly, amoeba-like slumping into the lowest common denominator we can find, like a pet waiting for the master to give it it’s next meal.

My cynical side says that there are those in the progressive movement that feel that the average man is capable of nothing more than mediocrity and that government has to subsidize these wretches, because they have not the character, ability, or intelligence to do anything more than dig ditches and live in a shack. The ironic part is that as a government spoils a segment of the population, that segment honors the ruling body with their loyalty, never knowing that they are being setup for failure and thought of as second-class lowlifes, mere rabble, easily manipulated, easily propagandized. For after all, aren’t they putting food in kids mouths and clothes on families backs?

Do you see how devious principle #2 is? Under the guise of compassion and philanthropy, the progressives enslave a population, stifle their growth, shackle them with doubt, and pat them on the back as they close and lock  the door on a successful future, put the key in their own pocket and smile wistfully to themselves at how compassionate they are. But in their eye there is emptiness because they know somewhere within that they are hollow, empathy-, whited sepulchers unwilling to share of their own substance for the poor, but willing to freely share your substance  thereby pacifying their guilt for being selfish themselves.

By Their Fruits You Will Know Them #1

In this and columns that follow, the writer, in an effort to argue against the progressive platform, will discuss the results of progressive policy and the reason for the  unintentional consequences that occur:

If a person puts forth an idea in a legislative body in this country, It usually has some intentions behind it. It may have the intention of fulfilling the need of a constituent. It may have the intent of fulfilling the desires of a backer. It may have the intent of moving our country towards the ideological position of the creator of the idea. it may have the intent of upholding the ideology of the nation’s founders. There are probably other areas of impetus for the legislation brought in front of the bodies that make the rules for our lives. these will suffice for this discussion.

You can’t always tell when you implement an idea that you have come up with  whether or not it’s a good idea or a bad idea. The intent of the idea may be noble. All involved may agree that it would be a great’ thing’ if the idea were to come to fruition.

You have heard the old adage, “That was a bust”. Oftentimes, unforeseen by the creator, unintended consequences of an  action occur. Sadly, this is the case for many of the ideas implemented by well-intentioned politicians.

let’s say, for the sake of argument, that the policies implemented by all politicians all originate from the best of intentions. Let’s say that all politicians go into political arena to make a positive impact, albeit their version of a positive impact. I am wiling, as should we all be, to give this benefit of a doubt to progressive of all types. What i don’t want to do is get into a mudslinging fight with my liberal friends and neighbors. So please, if you are of the progressive persuasion, now is a great opportunity to use that open mind you are famous for.

Progressive Idea #1:

The responsibility of government is to implement policy that makes the lives of every American bearable.

I vote yes!!! I want to see everyone in this country succeed.

who is going to be against that? No one! Didn’t we say, “give me your tired your poor,  your huddled masses  yearning to be free.

This will be the crux of all the arguments I have against progressive ideology

There is a problem with the tenets of the Progressive Idea #1. It has as an unspoken, probably unwitted, by most of the progressives, foundational belief. Are you ready for this? Its tenets are founded in the belief that man/woman cannot take care of situations that occur and must be helped by government.

This is what the founders of the European democracies believed. Intheir experience they had not seen mankind take care of itself.  the explanation for that is simple. they had been under various forms of tyranny from the beginning of their known history. What else should they have believed? All they knew about were monarchs and their ilk. In the book by Alexis de Tocqueville, Democracy in America. The book goes through his observations of the American landscape and shows the differences between this land’s poli-social environment  and that environment he had lived in while in France. This is a great read for the American who wants to know how we became the most powerful and beneficent nation on earth.

Now, if you are truly open minded, my fellow progressive Americans, you will read this book and ponder it like I have read and pondered one of your scriptures by Saul Alinsky, Rules for Radicals. In their you will find the 1st reason why I can refute the idea that we need to be taken care of like a bunch of pets.

The 2nd reason comes from our purpose on earth. If we have a purpose and if there is a G-d, He wants us to learn to live righteously like he does. That does not happen when  a human being is forced to do things, even if the things they are forced to do are right. We learn by being faced with situations and reacting to those based on the way we believe we should act in the given situation. That is what the founding fathers set up.

Tyranny had not worked, any form of tyranny , even soft tyranny. It did not free the human spirit to be all it could be. The nation had to be protected from the world , because the founders knew that the world would come and want to take over what was here; therefore the federal government was set up to take care of a few things like, “provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, ensure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our prosperity.” that was it’s purpose nothing else. this is what Touqueville found when he came here. Groups of people governed by themselves, taking care of the needs of the community.

So really, the progressive movement doesn’t have any new ideas, just old biases about the ability of man to do good, given the right environment.

We had that environment. We are losing it. We can regain it. but only if we fight anew the fight for our individual freedom like every generation before us.

Stay tuned for Progressive Idea #2
